2. MARKETS

2.1. General

2.1.1. Outright - betting on the winner of an Event, race or tournament. An outright bet involves the selection of a winner in a tournament, competition, league or event either from the onset or at any stage of the tournament, competition, league or event prior to the conclusion of the competition where the results are still undecided. The number of places that are paid as winners will be indicated in the Market title. If one of the opponents/players does not start an event, race or a tournament then all “Outright” bets on the above mentioned will be void. If the winners are two or more, or a “Dead Heat” is declared in any Outright Market then the payout odds (less the stake) are divided by the number of winners and settled accordingly with the stake returned.

Example: Based on a customer inquiry regarding the possibility of two players emerging as the top goal scorer in the Italian Serie A. The Company calculates the payout as follows: stake/winners x (odds-1) = Payout (If top goal scorer has more than 2 people= stake/ (number of people))

Example: Italian Serie A - Top Goalscorer

Zlatan Ibrahimovic @ 1.40
Edinson Cavani @ 3.50

If I placed bet $100 at Zlatan Ibrahimovic with odds 1.40 and if top goal scorer has 2 winners - My payout will be: Stake 100/2 x (Odds - 1) = 20
If I placed bet $100 at Edinson Cavani with odds 3.50 and if top a goal scorer has 2 winners - My payout will be: Stake 100/2 x (Odds - 1) = 125
* The term “Any Other Player” (Any Other Team etc.) refers to all participants not specified in the market.

2.1.2. Moneyline - betting on one of the opponents/teams to be the winner in an event, or to score higher in an event. The rest moneyline rules can be found in the specific event’s betting rules. The expression “The Field” relates to all competitors other than the one specified in the moneyline match up.

2.1.3. Handicap (HDP) - Handicap means betting when one competitor or team receives a virtual head start (effectively leading by that head start before the Event begins). The winner is the competitor or team with the better score after adding the given handicap to the result.

2.1.4. Asian Handicap (In-Play) - All bets, placed on Asian Handicap for an In-play market are settled in accordance with the score displayed for the surplus of the event/half, after the bet has been placed – any goals, scored before the bet having been placed are disregarded for settlement purposes.

Example: Juventus vs Liverpool - Live score 1:0

Team      Asian Handicap    Odds
Juventus    -0.75                 1.80
Liverpool   +0.75                 2.15

Final score 3:0 - If you bet on Juventus $100, your net win is $80
Final score 2:0, 3:1 - If you bet on Juventus $100, your net win $40
Final score 1:0, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3,2:1, 2:2, 3:2, 3:3 - If you bet on Liverpool $100, your net win is $115

The rest Asian Handicap rules can be found in the specific event betting rules.

2.1.5. Over/Under (OU) - This bet type gives a player the ability to put their stake on the number of goals (games etc.). If one (or more) selections get adjourned, the odds for the selections mentioned will recur to 1.00. Please relate to the betting glossary if you find yourself in need of a further explanation in regards to Multi Bets. Note that the page contains general information, not an explanation of every term.

2.1.8. System bets. System bet resembles a multi bet to a great extent. It represents a count of selections, and despite multi bets, not all of the selections included in a system bet must be properly predicted in order for you to win the bet. System bets are generally placed on higher odds with bigger stakes to guarantee a good profit, regardless of the fact that the gamester may have a couple losing selections. Computing prosperous returns is usually not too complicated, but in some situations, punters may require the assistance of a betting calculator when it comes to more complex system bets.

All other actions in a game are considered Safe Play and bets will continue to be considered for approval.

3.1.10 For in-play betting, bet placement is authorized up until the 90th minute which includes any injury time in the full time for most events (at the discretion of the Company). However from the 85th minute of play onward or the last five minutes before the end of regulation time, whatever is relevant to a game, any actions other than the ones already mentioned above, will be considered Safe Play and thus all outstanding bets placed may be considered for approval: actions including play in or around the penalty spot; a penalty; a dangerous free-kick and similar deemed by the Company as dangerous (possibility of goal).

In the event of a lack of video footage, or its interruption, the number of yellow and red cards and corner kicks will be taken from official sources. A substitution made in the 46th minute according to the official source will be regarded as a substitution made in the half-time break. 21. ESPORTS

21.1 General Esports Betting Rules

21.1.1 The start dates and times displayed on our website for eSport matches are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match is suspended or postponed, and not resumed within 48 hours from the actual scheduled start time, then wagers on the match will have no action and be refunded. The exception being any wager on whether a team/player advances in a tournament, or wins the tournament, will have action regardless of a suspended or postponed match.

21.1.2. If the name of a player/team is misspelled, all bets will stand unless it is obvious it is the wrong object.

21.1.3. If in an official match a player plays with the wrong nickname or on a smurf-account, the result is still valid unless it is evident that it is not the player that was supposed to play that match.

21.1.4. All wagers will be settled using the official result as declared by the relevant governing body of the competition concerned.

21.1.5. If a draw option has not been made available, then extra time will count, if played.

21.1.6. Handicap betting (Advantage): Handicapping is a way of making a sports contest more even and thus more interesting as a betting object. In eSports betting, this is done by awarding one of the teams/players, the underdog, some maps/rounds ahead. A spread in eSports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game: in Counter-Strike the spread will be rounds won, and in Dota 2 or Starcraft 2 the spread would be maps.

21.1.7. Total Betting: A total in eSports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game. The total will only be referred to as the total.

21.1.8. If a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome will have action and will be validated based on the official declared winner. All bets on the spread or total will be canceled and monies refunded. Counter-Strike matches are exceptions to this rule, for which all moneyline, spread and total bets are canceled if a team retires or is disqualified before all scheduled map rounds are played.

21.1.9. Should a player/team withdraw before a tournament begins, or retire during a tournament, bets on that player/team to win the tournament, or to advance in tournament, will be canceled and monies refunded.

21.1.10. If the respective player/team withdraws before the tournament begins while being listed as “must start”, then wagers on whether a player/team advances in a tournament or wins the tournament, will have no action and monies refunded – this applies to all players/teams participant in the tournament.

21.1.11. If the announced number of maps/rounds is changed all bets on the handicap or total are canceled. Bets on the moneyline (outcome of the match) have action.

21.1.12. If a player/team is given a walkover on at least one map, all wagers on the moneyline, spread and totals will be canceled and monies refunded.

21.1.13. Live Betting: In live betting, if a map is replayed due to a draw, disconnect or similar reasons, all live wagers on the respective map will be canceled. The replay of the map will be treated as a separate game.

For abandoned races, bets shall remain valid if the race was postponed and rescheduled within 48 hours (ante-post bets: 14 days) on the same track and the entries have not been re-opened. Otherwise, the bets shall be voided and the stake money refunded.

29.4. Change of conditions

If the general conditions for a race such as the racetrack, surface, or distance be changed by the operator, we shall be entitled to void any fixed-odds bets before the start of the race and refund the stake money.

29.5. Walkover

In the event of a walkover, a race involving only one runner, all fixed-odds bets shall be voided and the stake money refunded.

29.6. Settlement of Wagers

Statistics provided by the official score(s) provider or the official website of the relevant competition or fixture will be used to settle wagers. Where statistics from an official score(s) provider or official website are not available or there is significant evidence that the official score(s) provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.

In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.

29.7. First Past The Post Rules

All bets placed on UK and Irish horse racing will be settled on First Past the Post AND the official result.

29.7.1. First Past the Post: The immediate result after the race has been completed (see Exceptions below)

29.7.2. Official Result: Announced at the “weigh-in” on the day, after any Steward’s Enquiries and/or objections have been considered. If a winner is disqualified after the official result is announced, the disqualification will not affect the settlement of bets.

Exceptions

The exceptions where First Past the Post does not apply and bets are only settled according to the official result are:

  • A selection taking the wrong course
  • A selection carrying the wrong weight or the jockey failing to weigh-in
  • Any Ante Post bet
  • A Forecast or Tricast bet
  • A void race
  • Any Tote/Pari-Mutuel bet
  • A selection given as the winner in error by the judge
  • A bet placed on a two-runner race or a special match bet
  • A bet placed in a “without the favourite” or any other special market
  • Aintree Grand National
  • Any bet placed at the rails on a racecourse

We pay FPP on UK & Irish racing ONLY – Horse racing bets placed on non-UK/Irish meetings are settled on the official result declared by the racecourse judge and confirmed by the ‘Weighed-In’ announcement. If a winner is disqualified after the official result is announced, the disqualification will not affect the settlement of bets
